I like them. As actors, they all seem to take their jobs seriously and it shows on the screen. No one is dismissive of the work, or unwilling to pull their weight, or lets personal drama overshadow their professionalism.

As an added bonus: IRL, they don’t seem to be jerks. Which is all I ask for—not that they’re saints—but that they aren’t so obnoxious in their personal life you can’t root for them on-screen. It’s sad my standards are so low, but I’ve had too many idols turn out to have feet of clay. 

In fact, the stuff I DO see from them (all carefully vetted, I’m sure) is great. They’re funny, humble, and impatient with adulation. They don’t buy the fame machine hype. But they also are patient with the machinery of celebrity. They gamely show up for the press conferences, premieres, and interviews. They answer the same question over and over again. They try to make the interviewers, some of whom are painfully awkward or clueless, feel at ease. They aren’t dismissive. They aren’t arrogant. They show evidence of thinking about the show and their characters, and they never sound dumb. 

I shouldn’t single out Alex, Anna, and Stephen, because this is true of almost all the actors on True Blood. So kudos, guys, thanks for the hard work and not being assholes.
